About Me

“Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.” - Max Ehrman

If you’re someone who prioritizes other people's needs over your own, if you question your deservingness and worth, if you feel sensitive and overwhelmed by an intense world, if your perfectionism won’t let you relax, or if your physical and mental health are impacting your relationships and quality of life, I am really glad you are here. Many of these issues can leave you feeling isolated, lost, directionless or lacking a sense of identity and purpose. I use a holistic approach help my clients discover and change their patterns of behavior formed by being othered in their day to day life, chronic stress, chronic illness, family dysfunction and trauma.

My clients tend to be those who experience oppression, people in the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, 1st and 2nd generation immigrants, highly sensitive people, those with chronic illness, and those who work high stress/pressure jobs sometimes including secondary trauma. I welcome all walks of life to this space and strive to help you feel safe enough to unravel the complexity of who you are, with me as your witness.

The therapy I provide asks you to be brave enough to go into deeper and more vulnerable places where you can unearth how you truly feel and experience the world. Therapy with me will help you move you towards living more authentically, recover your sense of purpose, awe and meaning, and hopefully live a more peaceful life. I use Internal Family Systems, EMDR, strengths-based, relational healing and somatic awareness therapies to help you heal your traumas, phobias, negative beliefs, etc. I offer a free 20-minute consultation and look forward to hearing more about what brings you to therapy.

Education and Training

I have training in EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems) which are therapies that help treat trauma, complex PTSD, and other mental health issues. I work with all populations and have specialized working with people of color and LGBTQ+ identified individuals. I utilize a blend of humanistic, existential, and strengths-based and client-centered approaches. I am a graduate of the Antioch University Seattle’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I completed my clinical internship at MEND Seattle where I have had extensive training in anti-oppression based therapy and intersectional feminism. Additional training includes treating grief and loss, trauma and abuse, identity development, gender and sexual orientation, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LH 61212242).

Fees

*My individual therapy session full fee will be increasing by mid 2026.

Individual Therapy:

$160 per 50-minute session and will meet with you on a weekly or bi-weekly basis at minimum.

EMDR:

I offer EMDR intensive sessions as we may sometimes need longer sessions to process all that you are needing to in one sitting. I offer a prorated rate based on the 50-minute fee.

50-minute EMDR: $160; 75-minute EMDR: $240; 90-minute EMDR: $280

What about Insurance?
Since my services are out-of-network and out-of-pocket pay, I offer a superbill at the end of each month for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. If my full fee is not feasible for you and wish to use a superbill, please call your insurance to ask about reimbursement rates for out-of-network providers before you reach out for a consultation.

Insurance may not reimburse for the extended EMDR sessions and would need to be paid for out of pocket only and not submitted on the superbill for reimbursement.

For those who have financial struggles, I offer limited sliding-scale spots. Please let me know when you reach out if you are interested in this option.

I look forward to possibly working with you in the future.

EMDR

WHAT IS EMDR THERAPY?

When you feel stuck in patterns of distress and are struggling to overcome past experiences that you have a hard time letting go of, or if you are feeling stuck in your current talk therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a great therapy to effectively heal your trauma, distress/anxiety and other emotional challenges.

EMDR therapy is a form of psychotherapy that specializes in helping individuals work through/process traumatic memories, distressing beliefs, and emotions within an environment that prioritizes a sense of safety and support. EMDR is a leading therapy in treating various mental health challenges and increasing healing and sustainable change.

WHAT DOES EMDR HELP WITH?

EMDR helps treat conditions caused by trauma. This could be nightmares, PTSD, difficult personal interactions, difficulty in relationships, fears/phobias, anxiety, and depression.

HOW DO I KNOW IF EMDR IS RIGHT FOR ME?

EMDR is right for individuals that are ready to get “unstuck” with their past traumas and traumatic memories that have shaped their present day mental wellbeing. If you are wanting to alleviate your psychological distress, negative thought patterns/beliefs, anxiety and depression and find a deeper sense of calm and safety in the world, EMDR may be the therapy that works for you.

Please reach out to me if you are interested in learning more about this process as it has shown to be highly effective with individuals in finding healing and lasting change. Please watch the video link below to find out more about how EMDR may be a good step for you to take in your healing journey.

Clinical Supervision

I am a Washington State approved Clinical Supervisor and am seeking to offer clinical supervision to those seeking full licensure or those wanting to deepen their clinical skills in their already established practice. I am hoping to work with therapist associates who have some experience already in setting up their private practice or working in other clinical settings and needing a holistic supervision experience.

My Approach:

  • I seek to engage supervisees in a collaborative and relational approach to building a clinically sound practice, identifying one’s resonant niché, and to develop one’s clinical mind and tailoring your approach to varying client presentations and issues.

  • I want to help clinicians who approach their work from a social justice and systems perspective. I also want to help newer clinicians focus on what a sustainable practice means for them, while honoring their capacity, internalized narratives of worth, strengths, and resources.

  • I also have experience navigating private practice building and sustainability as an HSP (highly sensitive person) with a history of chronic illness. I encourage those who identify this way to seek the proper support to sustain your business and wellbeing as a clinician.

  • In my clinical work, I have predominantly met with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities (with my own personal overlap being part of a multicultural, South Asian diaspora, and queer communities) and also have experience working with all identities.

  • I am trained in and incorporate an eclectic blend of depth-based existential, humanistic, narrative, developmental attachment trauma, IFS, and client-centered approaches and can be used to help you develop those modalities but are not limited to these approaches.
