Elise Hale-Case, MA, LMHC

Mental Health Counselor

I am not taking clients in my private practice. Please consider working with another Mosaic Therapist or emailing hello@mosaiccounselingcollective.com for referrals.

About Me

I believe that people need to be heard and seen in order for them to feel comfortable and safe in their own skin. Therapy can provide a space that can hold you (in all of your parts, your selves, your experiences, your context) and can also be a place where, together, we can explore those parts, those selves, and those experiences to seek healing, understanding, and ultimately self-love. What happens between us during therapy can shed some light and help you understand what happens in your relationships outside the therapeutic office. I approach therapy from a kind, non-judgmental, and very present place. I might ask questions that invite you to examine more about what is happening for you internally while we are together.

I am particularly interested in working with women, queer couples, and people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, self-esteem, relationship distress, loneliness,  and/or sexual orientation and identity.

Education and Training

I earned a Bachelors of Arts from Mount Holyoke College and a Masters of Arts in Counseling and Psychology as well as a Master’s of Arts in Theology and Culture from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I believe pursuing counseling as a career means committing to a lifetime of learning. I am both excited for and dedicated to continuing to learn through trainings. Some more recent training topics I have attended are non-violent communication, undoing institutional racism, assessing suicidality and mindfulness and meditation.
